Fics like Tangled Heart

Chihiro had beautiful hair. When she was a baby he and Azami had both remarked on it, a thick mop of straight black hair which had stuck up in tufts. When she got a little older they’d both privately worried about it; did Kunishige know what to do with hair? Shiba and Azami were both vain and both had what they referred to as signature styles. They were sure that they could help. But as it turned out, they didn’t need to. When Kunishige did his daughter’s hair – whether that was combing it, or braiding it, or tying it up with ribbons – he didn’t do so with the clumsy hands which had once sent an entire pot of soup careening off the stovetop. No, he did so with the hands which had crafted such delicately balanced and unmatched blades; the hands of an artisan. Or - Chihiro's hair, and grief, and getting better.
