Fics like Starvation.

When the world ends, it happens differently this time. Raccoon City falls to a mutated contagion, spreading rapidly in an epidemic that leaves hundreds of thousands dead. Leon finds himself alone, scavenging to survive in the abandoned city outskirts — until a mysterious assailant knocks him out during a supply run. When he wakes, he finds himself imprisoned in a basement with a mysterious masked man as his vigilant captor. None of it seems to matter. Something inside Leon is starving. — ☣︎ — Carefully, slowly, Leon reached through the bars, taking the metal can that was offered. His fingertips brushed against thick gloved fingers as he withdrew. His mouth pooled with saliva. His captor turned to ascend the staircase, pausing, as if considering for a moment. Considering what? Leon couldn't tear his eyes from the silhouette. "I'm Chris." The man said before he left, "And you're gonna be here a while, Leon Kennedy."
