Fics like The Legacy of the Admiral

The young man sitting opposite him looked nervous, his eyes darting between the two of them, eyes that Ice could not help but stare at, because the colour looked just like that of Mav’s eyes. He wanted so desperately to comfort him, but he hadn’t a clue what to say. “So you’re my… my parents?” Jake Seresin asked, his gaze flitting briefly to Iceman before it returned to Mav. He seemed to be having difficulty processing the revelation. Iceman could empathise. He usually knew what to say, no matter what the situation entailed, but now, when he opened his mouth to speak, no words came out. --------- Iceman navigates the challenges of being the subject of a media storm, and trying to connect to a son who has been raised to be suspicious of alphas. An Iceman lives AU of Heirlooms.
