Fics like Sweet of You to Stay

Cornelia "Connie" Bucket is a single mother trying to raise her son Charlie while keeping her remaining family together but is having rotten luck. After being abandoned by the only man she's ever loved, her father's untimely death, and her unplanned single motherhood leading her to be blacklisted from any well-paying secretary position--Poor Cornelia has had to sacrifice and stumble to help keep her loved ones afloat. But could her luck possibly change for the better when the man who stole her heart and fathered her child announces a Golden Ticket Challenge? Could this be the beginning of something wonderful and the necessary change that she's desperately overdue for? Or is all of this going to go up in flames like her dreams did when she was harshly thrown out of her beloved factory and lover's life nearly twelve years ago? A story of love, family, hope, redemption, and golden opportunities await our beloved characters just beyond those curled iron factory gates--Cornelia and Charlie just have to be brave and bold enough to reach out and grab it. Join us on this wonderfully sugar-filled tour and romantic adventure to see if they rise up to the challenge!
