Fics like Aged Sugar

Ten years of candy making have gone by. Charlie still feels as much wonder and excitement today as he did from the beginning. When Mr. Wonka takes him by the hand and shows him his new project, Charlie is amazed. Only Mr. Wonka could create a time machine in a chocolate factory. An accident shoves Charlie back in time. He meets an unseen version of his best friend and mentor. A version that still feels the sting of betrayal from his employees. A version that openly shows disgust and contempt rather than a fake, stiff grin. A version that doesn't see Charlie as the perfect heir and adoring business partner. A version that looks Charlie up and down like a threat. Or something else.
