Fics like a heavy kind of madness.

If your parents were insistent on marrying you off to the highest bidder, you would spend your last months of freedom living the life they had tried to shelter you from. Even though the thought of it left your stomach in knots and this could very well end with you dead in a ditch, you knew that once you were married any chance of adventure would be gone. This might be your only chance to do something. Even if that something involves working for a crime lord. or, after an accident at The Last Drop, you are put in Silco’s debt. Unable to pay, you strike up a deal with the crime lord- you’ll serve as his courier and deliver letters Topside until your debt is repaid. Despite everything you had been warned about while growing up in Piltover, you find yourself increasingly drawn to Silco and the danger he represents. With an arranged marriage and family expectations hanging over your head, you find freedom and temptation in your new double life and the man who runs it. But you can only lie for so long before it starts to catch up to you, and that includes the lies you tell yourself.
