Fics like end this winter (wishing for spring to come)

“Please, please, please, Buck. T-take her. L-love…her…” When Buck clocked in for his shift yesterday afternoon he could not have predicted where he’d end up hours later, stuck under multiple feet of crumbling concrete and rubble with a heavily pregnant woman who may or may not be going into labor. ————— When Buck runs inside a collapsing building to save a woman, he did not think he would come out of the ordeal—come crawling out of the rubble—with a baby. But that is exactly what happened. Buck went into work that day with only a boyfriend—a fiancé now actually—and ended the day with a daughter.
