He vaguely wonders about the possibility of using Grindr. Nico thinks about it more often than he should. It seems like it would be so freeing to be able to use an app to hook up, to scratch the itch that never goes away during the season. On the other hand, it’s risky - people could recognize him. Even if he doesn’t use any face photos, which he obviously wouldn’t - he’s sat through too many lectures from the Devils’ PR team to be that dumb - if he were to meet up with someone, it would end in disaster if they knew who he was. He’d like to think that most people in Jersey probably wouldn’t recognize him; hockey isn’t the most popular sport in the states, and especially in New Jersey, people seem to care much more about football. On the other hand, there’s no way of knowing that he hadn’t accidentally matched with the Devils’ biggest fan and he’d be screwing himself over. On the other other hand, though, it can’t hurt to just make an account, right?
