Fics like “You don’t care to see yourself through others’ eyes.”

“Would you succumb to destroying everything when boredom reaches its peak? Your friends? Your foes? Strangers? Would you succumb to the power you hold when the world no longer excites you and only bores you? To wreak havoc and do as you please because you despise boredom so much - how could we be so sure that you wouldn’t break? You’re not here to see you fight, Sonic. You love the thrill and danger as much as you hate boredom. You glow at the face of death. What’s stopping you from doing as you please?” or Shadow had a different perspective of Sonic, and what was supposed to be thoughts that were saved for only him ended up being spoken out loud.
