Fics like Love Potion #9

Not to self: when handling potions, be sure to wipe the pot out thoroughly before serving. Shang Tsung’s plan was simple, and rather well organized. It should have gone smoothly. Approach the god of fire, Liu Kang, in repentance for his sins. And as an act of goodwill, serve him tea laced with a stimulant. He’d get him worked up and play along, oblivious to his state of heat, then, he’d strike, once and for all securing his revenge. At first, it was all going according to plan. But the sorcerer, in the heat of the moment, restless for his revenge, added the stimulating agent to the tea kettle first, instead of after he poured his own cup.
