Fics like The New Emperor

After defeating Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat, an Earthrealm warrior never expects his greatest battle to begin after the tournament ends. By the decree of the Elder Gods, Fenrir Blackmore is named the new Emperor of Outworld, forced to rule the very realm he was once sworn to oppose. But the Elder Gods have one more surprise in store. To legitimize the new order and bind Outworld, and therefore Edenia as well, together, they name Kitana, Mileena, and Jade as his wives and Empresses. What begins as an impossible political arrangement soon becomes something far more complicated. Determined to build an Outworld beyond slavery, fear, and endless conquest, Fenrir sets out to reshape the empire alongside three women who each carry their own history, ambitions, wounds, and secrets. But not everyone is willing to let Shao Kahn's legacy die. As Reiko and the loyalists wage a brutal civil war, rival factions vie for power, ancient grudges resurface, and alliances are forged in blood. And beneath it all, darker mysteries begin to emerge. Fenrir is not entirely human. Something ancient lies within his blood, and something far more dangerous lies within his soul.
