The two men that enter—Lanky and Large, Jihoon christens them fondly—are not the same ones who bundled him into the van. They’re better dressed and not quite as dumb looking. Not grunts then, but lieutenants. They take opposite sides of the room, so Jihoon can’t really watch both of them at the same time, but he quickly determines Large is the one he needs to appeal to here, and not just because he’s...well, built like he pretzels spines for a living. Out of the two of them, he’s clearly the guy in charge.
