Fics like I know a bank where the wild thyme blows

As he rounds the side of the house, taking a moment to admire the plain, albeit extensive grounds overlooking a sweeping view of the lake below, he becomes aware of the figure of a large, imposing looking man standing on the veranda, smoking a pipe. An Alpha—Jihoon’s nose is quick to inform him, moments before his other senses go on high alert. His first thought is to throw himself in the bushes and hide, but he quickly realises that is, one—beyond childish, and two, completely pointless, as there is no possibility the man has not seen him, or perhaps scented him in turn. Instead, he schools his nerves and continues down the path toward the front door, reminding himself that he has, after all, been invited.
