“Tommy and I got into a fight,” Buck said, shouldering past Eddie into the kitchen. He had a duffel bag in his hand and dropped it right onto the kitchen table. Eddie looked down at the bag and then back up at Buck. “You guys got into a fight and now you wanna move in?” Buck shook his head. “No, that’s not…I have an idea.” Eddie narrowed his eyes in confusion. Buck looked desperate and he was breathing heavily, like he was going to explode. “Buck, you’re freaking me out, man.” “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” “What was your idea?” “I was thinking…that maybe you and I could go to Texas and get Chris.” Or: Buck shows up at Eddie's house with two tickets to El Paso and a plan to get Chris back and Eddie, of course, goes along with it.
