Fics like Flashing Lights

Kim Seokjin's career has been plagued by vicious rumours and devastating grief. To improve his image he seeks the help of Jung Hoseok, a sweet, hopeful dreamer who set Jin's teeth on edge. But as the two grow together, they discover things about each other that turn the tide of their relationship, until they cant imagine life without each other. OR "It was a devastating truth, Seokjin mused, the world a blur of colour and flashing lights in stop motion about him, that the stars they gazed upon were already dead. With a whoosh like blood flow in ears, the realisation brought the soundscape back to them. (...) Through the haze of camera flash and the sting of his tears he barely knew where the pavement ended and to road started. All he knew is that they couldn’t see him cry. His pain splashed about their rags as if it were entertainment. To be vulnerable before a pack of wolves was like bearing your naked body in tundra. Soon the blood would stop flowing and his heart would cease to feel or to beat again.
