Fics like The Blood of the Covenant (is thicker than the water of the womb)

With Sasuke as a double agent in Sound to escape Danzo's machinations, and Naruto traveling with Jiraiya to escape the Akatsuki, Sakura is left in the eye of the largest political storm in Konoha's history. Sakura knows that as long her teammates are unsafe, Team 7 will never be whole again. Unfortunately for both the Akatsuki and Danzo, she's not alone. [not abandoned, author is just trying to survive an engineering degree]
