Fics like Echoes in the Silence

Anakin is not the Jedi he should be. The Force feels like chaos all around him. He can’t use it the way other Jedi do. He can’t find balance or the serenity that he’s heard so many Jedi speak about. But maybe he doesn’t need to. Maybe he’s not supposed to use it the same way as the others. Maybe he’s meant to do more. Or the one where Shmi’s death doesn’t turn Anakin to the dark side. Instead, he saves her, frees himself of the block between him and the Force, and becomes the Bad Ass Jedi he always dreamt he would be.
