Fics like Ghosts

Despite being fully restored, smooth-skinned and fresh-faced, despite retaining all sensation, despite his limbs working as they should, as strong and agile as Before, if not more, despite all his senses remaining fully alert, Obi-Wan’s body was not his own. His body was not his own. His body was not his own. He was a doll on a shelf, to be taken down and played with and then carefully cleaned and made neat again to be stored back in his resting place; he was an insect preserved in amber, to be placed in a jewel and admired but dead and still and unchanging. He was the sum of parts put together by others with scalpel and thread, like a perfect, elaborate puzzle, and held together at the seams by Darkness incarnate. or Darth Vader won the duel on Mustafar, became Emperor and made Obi-Wan his Imperial Concubine.
