Fics like Bury Me Not in a Land of Slaves

Anakin had heard of the lottery. He wanted nothing to do with it. He wasn't didn't want the Jedi's gold-gilded chains. Being the mate of a Jedi with no say would be just as bad as being a slave. Obi-Wan doesn't have a choice anymore if he wished to be a Jedi. He needs a mate or he faces expulsion from the order. He dreams of a blonde man with blue eyes and a warm look in his eyes to love him. When Anakin shows up, he finds that the love story he was hoping for was slipping through his fingers.
