Fics like We Say Good Luck Instead of Goodbye

What if Stanley Johnston refused to go along with the pigeon plan, and simply decided to take Susie -- who has the whole list of Glass family farms in her head, after all -- instead? OR “Listen to me very carefully, Mr. Stevens. I am not the one on a clock. You are. Because every hour that you keep Susan Glass from me is another hour you should be putting time zones and extradition policies between my gun and your head. Which I suggest you start doing, post-fucking-haste. While I firmly believe you know exactly how to handle the kinds of thugs you deal with on a regular basis, you do not know me. You don’t know where I’ve been, what I’ve done, who I’ve done it to, or how much I enjoyed it. But you’re about to find out.”
