Fics like Our Souls Are Meant to Sail the Astral Sea

Durge has absolutely no memory, a violent bloodlust that can overwhelm him at any given moment and a nasty backseat passenger lodged in his skull. Jean Grey didn't think she'd be crawling out of her own grave, resurrected yet again - but here she is. Two people who wouldn't normally have met, thrust together when a nautiloid crosses the planes. Taking on the role as leader to a ragtag group of adventurers, Durge tries his best to overcome the dark urge that threatens to consume him while facing an identity crisis and fighting to remember a past lost to him. Meanwhile, Jean didn't sign up for dimension hopping to a strange world without modern comforts, joining a dangerous quest to stop a powerful psionic cult or being a target for manipulations. Working together, they must navigate their mission and new personal relationships without succumbing to corrupting influences - or they might be doomed to fail against the Dead Three. But, the wheel of fate need not turn ever to the dark, sometimes you just need the right people by your side.
