Fics like Quiet Affection

After the fall of the Netherbrain, Tav's home in Baldur's Gate was destroyed and Gale offers his tower as a temporary place for her to rest and heal. A very slow-burn romance starts to bloom, while Tav (named Iluviel) struggles to be ready after the things Astarion did to her. ~ Lots of D&D lore and (mostly canonical) Waterdeep worldbuilding went into this fic that follows both Gale and Iluviel through their daily lives inside and outside of the wizard's tower. ~ Readers said about this fic: "This fic has had me in a chokehold from Day 1. The most deliciously slowest of slow burns, yet with enough intensity and cliffhangers to keep me racing back to it as soon as a new chapter alert comes out. The world-building that has happened in this fic surpasses just about all of the other fics I've read to date, with the imagery and scenery so beautifully written I could imagine myself sitting right in the kitchen along with Gale, Tara, and Iluviel, dodging pots and pans 😁"
