Fics like close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dream

“Give me until sunrise to change your mind. If I fail, I will let you go forever.” “It won’t work. You can’t change my mind.” She countered. Aleksander smirked. “If you’re so sure then there is no reason to say no.” *** Much has changed in Ravka since the Destruction of the Fold. The Lantsov monarchs were long gone. The Empire now was a Republic. And Grishas now enjoyed status as equal citizens of a democratic country. However, one thing remains constant: the tempestuous bond between Shadow Summoner and Sun Summoner. Desperate for something more than hurt and brief passions between them, Aleksander proposes a wager: he has until sunrise to convince her they are meant to be. Against her better judgement, Alina accepts. And thus begins the longest 13 hours in their lives.
