Fics like cross your heart (won't tell no other)

“Oh, but you can send me into the barriers?! Fuck you, Hamilton, leave me alone.” Lewis gapes at him. “Max, I was penali-” “You still won! You still won and nobody criticised you for it because you’re the great Lewis Hamilton, but when I so much as set a foot wrong…” “Max, your tyre touched my helmet. I could feel your car on top of my head. You brake tested me. Do you know how dangerous that is?!” “AND EVERYONE HATES ME FOR IT! THEY WISH I’D JUST DIED IN SILVERSTONE! LEWIS, YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA HOW IT FEELS WHEN EVERYONE’S ROOTING AGAINST YOU AND WANTS YOU OUT OF THE SPORT, BECAUSE YOU’RE THEIR POSTER CHILD, SO JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!” or: Max only joins F1 in 2017 and is subsequently adopted by Lewis Hamilton. Which makes their championship battle all the more difficult for both of them; and both have to cope. One way or another.
