Goosebumps prickle along Link’s skin. His senses go haywire, survival instincts triggered by an apparent threat. Something is watching him. Leaping back, he whips out a bow and arrow and aims it at the river, where the source of that omnipresent gaze feels strongest. There is a faint plink as something dips below the water and out of sight. For a moment he thinks he sees a faint outline of something large and red beneath the waves, but it lasts only a second, gone the next. Link’s eyes narrow. It’s that creature again. ------ Something has followed Link home. It is a beast of unknown origin, appearance, and size, and for some reason it has taken an interest in him.
