Fics like Drawing Our Names in the Sand
Toya slams a hand down on the barrier, sending bits of sand flying. “Akito this is a big deal. Even if you pretend it isn’t. You were purposely avoiding me ever since you left and be honest and tell me the only reason we are even talking now is because I had to search half the city to find you. I was scared Akito.” “You really went through all that trouble for me?” Akito started to quiet down, and Toya immediately knew what was going through his partner’s head. “It wasn’t any trouble Akito, and I’d do it again. What I’m more upset about is you not talking to me. Remember last time when I wasn’t honest with you about how I was feeling and I almost left BAD DOGS?” Akito flexed his fist. “Yeah…” “So please.” Toya took Akito’s hand. “Talk to me. I don’t want unspoken words putting a strain on our friendship again. We can sort out everything ok. I don’t want anything hanging over us.” Akito looked up to Toya one more time, then gave his hand a little squeeze. “Ok, but I need you to start.” ------ After a confrontation with Toya's dad, the two boys need to sort out what happened that evening, and reconcile their friendship, and potentially have it blossom into something more.
