Fics like New Clothes

It's rare for anyone to notice a change in Toya's behavior. Hell, it's hard for even Akito sometimes, and they've been partners together for two years at this point. That usually means that whatever he's feeling now, it's extreme enough to affect his whole posture. Whenever that's the case, Akito has reason to be concerned. How many times has he had to console and reassure Toya that he's doing the right thing in living for himself and not his father's ideals? Akito would do it again and again, but unless Toya opens up, it's pointless to say anything at all, it's like talking to a brick wall. Akito's the kind of guy used to hitting that kind of wall over and over again though, so he's prepared to do it for the sake of his partner.
