Fics like Of Martyns and Littlewoods

What if, in the end, the rats never had to leave the attic? What if the rift were somewhere else, more out in the open? And what if this were a problem for poor Martyn, who just wanted to leave before he got too attached? (What if he already has?) Or: An AU where the father decides the rats are chill, and the rift Martyn uses to go home is now in a not-so-stealthy place. This is a huge problem for Martyn, especially since he totally isn’t attached to the rats here. He isn’t, really. Really. (Title and tags may change. If you have any title suggestions, let me know! This is also my first fic so lemmie know if anything is inaccurate :,)
