Quite frankly, this whole ‘Golden Grove’ business felt a bit like draft dodging to Franky. The Blood Space War wasn’t going to fight itself, after all. Still, it’s like they say. We pretend to fight their Blood Space War; they pretend to keep us safe from the existential threat of the return of the Old Ones. (The funny part is that Franky is an Old One, technically, so the City Council is clearly slacking on their end of the bargain.)
