It starts, as most things do, with a radio. Tamika Flynn, you know, from Gotham? Plays the same station whenever she's on the late shift in one of Red Hood's operations. The static that comes out confuses her co-workers, but they, as all people do, grow used to it in time. Tamika makes faces, sometimes, reacting to something they can't hear, but after three years of the same quirk, those that manage to stick around find themselves sometimes humming along with the weather. Tamika from Gotham doesn't speak much about why she listens to static, or why she insists on being called "Tamika from Gotham", despite not actually being from Gotham, but she does say that the epithet reminds her of home. This changes when the boss himself checks in on their operation one fateful night and asks in confusion after voices unheard from a known sources, transmitting the unknown. - Jason starts his night with a hitlist, and ends it with a Radio that captures his attention immediately. Night Vale Community Radio is an interesting thing, after all. Listening at first with confusion, then fondness, he finds himself getting invested. Everything changes after he hears Night Vale Community Theater's casting call.
