Fics like distantly yours

The bracelets are Alex’s idea—gifted a day before Henry’s set to go back to London for two weeks and attend several royal engagements. They’re not exactly stylish, nor do they really blend with Henry’s suit, but when he taps the button on the side, and watches Alex’s gaze drop down to his wrist, a surprised little smile on his face as he looks back up to catch Henry’s gaze, he finds he doesn’t care all that much, or at all. — Or, Alex finds a way to be there for Henry when he can’t physically be there.
