Fics like Hourglass

Alicent says a silent prayer to the Gods as she walks into the lake, the cold that bites at her waist until her body grows numb, and she can no longer shiver. She prays for her children, for Rhaenyra and her sons to rest peacefully. Alicent begs the Gods have mercy to forgive her, if not for herself, than to not allow them to suffer. She embraces the touch of death as she plunges below the water, and her lungs scream for air, until she no longer has the energy to fight. She expects there to be pain, for she deserves it, but there is only calm and darkness as she closes her eyes and embraces the stranger. But the Gods are horribly cruel, and Alicent opens her eyes once more. -- The gods give unto Alicent both a blessing and a curse-- she is a child again and Rhaenyra is alive, an alpha, and it only seems to torture her more.
