Fics like The Mattress that You Stole

Jiang Yanli manages to calm Wei Wuxian at the battle of Nightless City, but people are still calling for blood. In a desperate attempt to protect him, Lan Wangji grabs Wei Wuxian and runs, hiding them both in an old motel far outside of the cultivation realm. There isn’t much time before it’ll all crash down, but for the moment, he can pretend maybe everything will be alright. Fix-it fic featuring a soft blend of canon and modern au because I couldn’t resist the aesthetic of a run-down motel.
