Fics like A Demon Calls

A darker reimagining of Dragon Quest Builders 2, blending elements from the game’s original dialogue with themes and motifs from Dragon Quest Universe. I truly enjoyed the lighthearted stories in this fandom, so much so that I felt inspired to explore something a little different—something darker—a touch more shadowed and romantic. Captured by a mysterious cult, Mei awakens on a deserted island. But she is not alone. A dark, enigmatic presence soon entangles itself in her fate—watching, protecting… and becoming something much more.
