After finding out that the blood of magical beings can be consumed to heal previous injuries or ailments, companies started making medicine with magic as the main ingredient. However, human were never meant to have magic. It wasn't made for them. Consuming magic will only change them, make their bodies rely too much on it. They gave the magic a purpose without a spell being cast. Now, neither can exist without the other. Humans have hunted magical beings for for too long. Currently, only one remains. It's difficult to live with a bounty over your head as a child.
