Fics like Little Remedies

Incomplete fragments. Imperfect halves. A man who is not quite the sum of his parts. If you pressed hard enough on your reflection, could you hold its hand? Read the words carefully written on the palm? Is this progress you’re making? Deciphering meaning and assigning value to nails painted, small kindnesses and a conversation in color? Or are you just foolishly, selfishly driving you and your other halves deeper and deeper into this revolving hell? Or, For so long, Soul has had nothing. No glimpse of Whole save for the nails he paints for him. A small kindness from what he could be. Whole doesn’t intend this to open up anything more, but it’s not quite up to him. When his half uses his kindness to communicate.
