Fics like You’ve Shown Me Colors You Know I Can’t See With Anyone Else

There was a story. Evan learned from his friends in elementary school that the day you meet your soulmate, the person you're supposed to love forever, you will know when you're able to see colors. The world was bright, vibrant, and full of color. The trees were purple, and the sand was still gray, but not the ugly gray. The grass was purple too. Firetrucks were blue. It was an entire thing that Evan clung on to as a child, hoping that one of his classmates would be his soulmate. And he would be able to experience that burst of color. OR What if there’s a universe where no one sees color until they find their soulmate? Buck wants nothing more than to meet his soulmate to experience color for the first time.
