Fics like Embers Ever Burning

Yang was six and a half when her entire life turned upside down. She was seven when she realized she was completely and totally alone. She was eight when she grew up too fast. She was ten when her semblance awoke. She was fourteen when she became Ruby's guardian. She was seventeen when she met Ozpin again, and she didn't trust him as far as she could throw him. She was eighteen when she was proved right. Or With Volume 10's fate uncertain, I thought I'd have a little fun and play around with a slightly different route in canon. Hope you enjoy.
