Fics like Put it In a Pumpkin Shell (There You Kept it Very Well)

At the end of the world, Ruby holds the broken pieces of Crescent Rose, Myrtenaster, and Gambol Shroud, all tied with her worst and most revolting craftsmanship, and says the only prayer she’s ever had use for, thanking her friends, her sisters, for their sacrifice. Taking another breath as the burning spreads until she’s holding nothing but ash, Ruby feels a small smile grow on her lips. Yang would be proud.
