Fics like Preening wings is a fun family activity

An angel's wings are the most vulnerable part of their body. They’re incredibly fragile and sensitive to pain, so it takes a massive amount of trust for an angel to allow someone to touch their wings. To clean an angel's wings is an incredibly rare and intimate experience and triggers emotional bonding with the angel. Treat an angel's wings with great care, as to be given an angel's wings is the highest form of trust they can give you. It had been millennia since Lucifer let anyone touch his wings. Besides Lilith when she had to help with preening, he kept them hidden unless necessary and only maintained them when it physically started to hurt. He didn’t really like to think about his wings, and preferred to keep them away and out of reach. Then Charlie barreled into his life.
