Lucifer had known that getting along with Alastor wasn’t going to be easy, but he hadn’t thought it would be this hard, either. And for the record, Lucifer had been more than prepared to cut him some major, major slack. Waking up to learn that you had no eyeballs left to speak of and that you were effectively under house arrest until your only chance of ever seeing again had recovered enough to try to pull off a literal miracle in Hell would have been a hard pill for anyone to swallow, let alone for someone with the personality of a wet cat. Frankly, Lucifer isn't even sure why he cares so much. If Alastor wants to handle things himself, then so be it. After all, it's not like he's the guy's keeper.
