Fics like A Lover's Hope

Considering how much attention the 2022 adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" gave to Scrooge's pocketwatch, I thought for sure that Isabel was going to come back to him in the end. Is that how the novel, or any other movie adaptation goes? No...but, considering how differing this version is from all of those entities, I had hoped that the two lovers would have gotten back together. So, this is just a cute little "What If" story, about if Isabel did come back.
