Fics like The girl who grew up

Wendy Darling ceased to be a child long ago, yet growing up did not prove to be as thrilling as she had hoped in a society where being a woman meant your destiny was confined to becoming your husband's decorative piece or an eternal spinster under the care of your brothers. Tired of swimming against the current and being considered the black sheep of her family, Wendy reminisces about that grand adventure she had in a place where everything seemed easier, where she had the chance to be freer, yearning so strongly to return there that she mysteriously finds herself awakening in Neverland. What Wendy doesn't know is that growing up entails not just many things in her world but also in Neverland, where she's already too old to play with the children and suddenly stops finding adults as detestable. Especially that villainous pirate who used to appear in her stories and who now, many years later, doesn't seem terrifying to her at all.
