Fics like step into christmas with me

Ian lets out a breath as he settles in. He keeps watching the TV for a while, tired, but not tired enough for his eyes to close just yet. “Did you tell them we weren’t coming?” he asks quietly. Mickey combs his fingers through Ian’s hair, brushing it back off his forehead. “Yeah.” “Did you tell them I’m…” He never really knows how to finish that sentence. Mickey wiggles a little as he pulls his phone out of his pocket. He opens it to their family group chat—aptly named Gallaghers even if it included some strays—and scrolls back to yesterday before handing it to Ian. // post-canon: ian isn’t feeling well on christmas, his husband tries to help
