Fics like The Heart Never Forgets

The Girl Who Fell Through The World tells the story of Alyx and her adventures through the Ever After. Along the way, she meets the Curious Cat, an endless source of knowledge and a constant yearning for more. Together, they travel through the acres until they're attacked by a Jabberwalker. The cat flees, leaving Alyx with only her knife to defend herself. But just as the Jabberwalker strikes, a scythe cleaves through it. A woman cloaked in red reached out to Alyx, ready to help her any way the girl needed. AKA, Volume 9 Role Swap AU with Ruby as the Rusted Knight and Penny trying to get her dearest friend back.
