5 years following his Ascension, Astarion has reappeared to collect the debts he thinks he's owed—including Tav herself. And there doesn’t seem to be a line Astarion’s not willing to cross to have her back. – “I’ve been making my way through Baldur’s Gate and beyond: visiting old friends—collecting debts owed to me. The last few turns around the sun have seen plenty of celebrations and leisure from me, and now I think it's time I took care of a few things; I do have a degree of responsibility for what's mine, after all." “That doesn’t tell me why you’re here.” My jaw tightens. “We are not friends, and there are no debts to you in my name,” the air between us drops a few more degrees. "Perhaps I could agree with you on one front," he counters. "Though I had been more than willing to be friendly with you, Tav." "You have everything you’ve ever wanted.” I frigidly throw his own words back at him. A grin breaks across his face. "Is that so?" "Only everything you thought yourself entitled to have, Astarion." Astarion’s chin tilts back, eyelids slanting. "Then you know exactly what I'm here for."
