Fics like Matching wounds

“What are you?” “Oh darling, don’t insult yourself. I know you are better than that.” – a wicked grin tugs at his blood coated lips. “You can’t be. They are tales to scare children not to wander alone at night.” – my voice comes out ragged. “Yet here you are, wandering alone.” – he answers in that low, sultry sweet voice. His lips curve upwards, revealing his teeth. His sharp teeth. Coldness washes over me. Vampire. ----------------------------- Astarion sees her as means to an end. Drinking her blood was supposed to be an easy fix for his hunger. But as old memories resurface and secrets unravel, his hunger shifts from blood onto something bigger. Something that thaws his cold skin and picks at his crumbling facade. This work takes place at the same time as the story in bladur's gate 3. It's somewhat canon compliant as I changed a few lore bits for storytelling purposes.
