Fics like hollow crown

“Good to see you’re awake today,” he said leadingly, prodding to get some sort of reaction. He’s awake today, Echo had said, and Hunter had refrained from pointing out that Crosshair had been awake the last two times Hunter went to visit, only pretending to be asleep. Crosshair continued to stare out into space, eyes distant and unfocused. The heavy bags under his eyes made the hollowness of his cheekbones stand out, and combined with the pallor skin he looked more like a corpse than he did a living, breathing person. Hunter, Wrecker, and Echo have rescued Omega and Crosshair from Mount Tantiss. All Hunter can do now is try to pick up the pieces and keep what family he has left together. Healing is never easy. Neither is forgiveness. Especially when the person you're trying to forgive is yourself.
