Fics like All I Want for Christmas is Your Love

Stede Bonnet never really got over Ed Teach. Maybe that’s because of their long-distance friends-with-benefits situation they’ve had going for three years. Maybe it’s because when Stede falls in love, he does so with reckless abandon and doesn’t bother to try and get out of it. But just because he never got over Ed, doesn’t mean he hasn’t tried, and with minor success. He may even be a little bit (just a little, just a really, tiny bit) in love again. This would be alright if Ed hadn’t come back to Port Republic. Maybe just for the holidays, maybe forever. Stede certainly doesn’t know, and while he is actually happy to spend the time with Ed, there’s that issue of being a little bit (maybe a bit more than a little, but it’s too soon, really) in love with someone else. Izzy Hands, to be exact. Ed’s ex.
