Fics like the humble as the proudest sail

It’s humiliating enough for his feelings for Edward to be called love. Love is soft and sentimental, all kittens and perfume, and what Izzy feels for Edward is more akin to the way a ship needs the wind and the waves, no matter how roughly they beat at its sails and hull. And don’t all sailors succumb to the sea eventually? His grip tightens on the oars. No. Fuck that. If Bonnet is what it takes for Edward to ride out whatever storm Blackbeard has become, Izzy will deliver Bonnet to him. After Ed, grieving and angry, banishes Izzy from the Revenge, there's only one thing Izzy can think of doing to earn his forgiveness. Unfortunately, it's going to involve spending a lot of time with Stede fuckin' Bonnet.
